While the defence around him were losing their heads, he kept his, superb save from the last kick of the match. He deserves better around him.

As someone who felt Hennessey was hard done by when McArthy was played ahead of him I have been frustrated with both him and fans at times. Nowhere near as bad as some on here made out. Villas was obviously a shocker but most of the other "calamities" we're just very good goals. He isn't getting closer to where he was a few years ago, I can't help but think his injuries, particularly his relatively recent back issues are what made him slow at times getting down. Good to see him doing well again, perversely it is because the defence is at sixes and sevens he is getting the opportunity to demonstrate how good he can be. Not unlike Speroni. If the defence plays well, a keeper only gets a few real opportunities He still has to improve but he has done before and hopefully he will again

For the first time yesterday you could hear him on the stream bellowing at the defence to push out. Perhaps Sam has told him to command them more than he has. He can do no more than that, if they don't do it then it is down to them.
