First of all I like you as a club, you stick by your principals and your fans are in it clearly for the love of the club, you always try and develop players, moses etc the list goes on,look at those who have come through down the years.Today was 27 years on from my first ever game at home against palace on a equally cold new years day in 1990. With my dad it was apt then.

On to todays game, it was awful conditions, freezing beyond belief, and the sort of the day if you asked all 22 players, theyd rather be anywhere else really.I know being unwell I was feeling that at the game today.

First half we started ok and strung it about half decently girouds wonder goal aside. The money gap is there but we were not on it completely, infact id say maybe even ripe for a upset.

Your firs half was big sam at his worst, you seemed to just bank it then wait for set pieces and half faced pump the ball to a clearly irate benteke, zaha was isolated and it was all to easy for us, it was a non palace performance for me who has watched a lot of you in recent years, i said to my dad there better than that, there not west brom.

second half different story you pressed higher and played proper counter attacking football, right from the off benteke had a great chance and both wingers and cabaye played so much further forward.

That seemed more like a proper palace performence and cech had to make some brilliant saves, our second seemed a bit offside as well.

What Id ask is away from home against the richer clubs why wait to the games nearly gone before having a go, personally id rather get tonked than meakly lose.

We won't get relegated but if we did one bonus would be not having to go to the soulless Emirates stadium.

That my friend was the Pardew way and we sacked him. We just hope the BFS way will keep us up but you are right there was no drive to score more than the opposition.

I still cant believe you sold glen murray. I know hes not a out and out scorer, but ive always been a huge fan of his, he murdered us late on in a tight late win at your place a year or two back.Hes doing brilliantly for brighton, and i still believe hed do a job in the premier.

I hope big sam changes his ways cause you have wonderfull wingers, who could be brilliant for you with some bravery.

If we get tonked then our goals difference will suffer it is -6 now thats a lot better than the 3 bottom teams.

Do we really need the opinions of condescending gooners ?

Thank you for your visit to this forum, your positive comments have cheered me up a bit. There are many of us who will never understand why we got rid of Murray, although just as many thought he wasn't up to Prem standard. By the way we have an Away Fans forum, you might get a friendlier reception if you post there in future!

Wtf is going on at Arsenal. Why do you go to the football to sit in silence? 1400 a season ticket minimum as I understand. As a poster said relegation might not be so bad not to have to endure the Emirates experience. The stewards are a a disgrace. Fckn imbeciles.
