Just watched this game...what a great advert for Scottish football.
Two teams playing hard honest football with no diving or serious foul play. The Ref was superb allowing free flowing play.
Also great to see Clint Hill at 38 still giving everything....what a great pro...Scott Sinclair on top form as well....

....and this has what to do with Palace talk? Seriously know one can deny the almost fanatical support of both Rangers & Celtic (I actually supply NYCSC) but I really do have to bite my tongue at times when I hear the TIMS waxing lyrical about Celtics achievements under Brendan Rodgers admittedly you can only beat who's put in front of you, but the standard is so poor that I'd go so far as too say Its lower Championship level at best.

Wrong - or would you consider Man City a lower Champ team? Celtic went toe to toe with them in the CL this year. When ever Scottish teams have played English teams there's never been that big a gap apparent to me. That's damning - it means English football is way below the sum of its parts, its potential, given Scotland has only a population of 6 million or so.

We should sign Armstrong. Maybe even the hun Mackay. I am prepared to wax lyrical about the bravery Celtic showed on the ball today; under pressure in s***e weather. Celtic/Palace till I die.

Wrong? Nope I don't think so. A one off match is one thing to do it over 46 Games is another. I would say Dundee, Rangers & Aberdeen etc are a lower level than even Championship

It was an entertaining enough game, not the usual walkover. Sinclair was good and actually Tavernier wasn't bad for Rangers. Sviatchenko was absolutely s***e.

I agree that it wasn't the highest quality but I thought it was very entertaining with both sides giving it 110% and some cracking full blooded challenges which the ref did well to let go on occasions. Was reminiscent of an old Division 1 game from the 80s

No i don't think so either.

Champions league matches they are raising their game and even then the result aren't great:

Played 6, won 0, drew 3, lost 3. Goals for 5 goals against 16.

The squad value is probably lower than half of the championship teams too.
