A bit late but see there is a monopoly helpline from 24/12 to 26/12.

The Monopoly Hotline can be reached on 0800 689 4903.

It says 'The helpline is to open in light of a survey that found 51% of Monopoly games end in a row.'

The no. 1 argument - People making up rules.

Anyone had any family arguments.

If the people you're going to play Monopoly with are likely to cheat, then they're w@nkers and not worth engaging with.

Agree possibly disputed rules beforehand - can you collect rent while in jail, what benefit there may (or may not) be for landing on Free Parking, who controls the bidding process etc etc.

No need for a helpline. Fists are fine.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I visited some friends once and they played the Only Fools and Horses boardgame. Knocked Monopoly into cocked hat. I was Boycie and kept getting to say "... and frankly, Derek, I couldn't give a monkey's toss". Brilliant.
