Stress-free for me. Dinner with one of my sons and his gf - and it was bloody good too.
Otherwise, just Mrs H and me enjoying quality time together.
Fantastic.

Happy Boxing Day everybody.

Was going to ask where did you go but we wouldn't know it if you're in Scotland, but, as you can read this reply, I'm asking anyway.

The New Lanark Hotel, which is on the New Lanark heritage site and looks very nice done up for Christmas. But the food was dreadful, Santa was a waiter who'd chucked on a red suit and grabbed a handful of sweets on the way back in, and they rushed us through a four-course lunch in about an hour.

Hoof Hearted 27 Dec 16 11.54am

My tw*t of a brother-in-law was getting on my t1ts Christmas night.

Up his arse completely.

Has just got MCC Membership and has bought a stripey tie and blazer to wear at Lords with his stuffy chums.

I wanted to tell him what a pr1ck he looked in it, but didn't... because I didn't want to upset my sister.

On the journey home, my Mrs was really bad mouthing him to me in the car about his attitude.... she detests him!

Still... we don't have to see him till next Christmas now!

They usually don't know you loathe them so you have to keep the facade going over Christmas to prevent an almighty row

Hope nobody had to put up with weed fans at Christmas. I've got a Clown in the family but he of course is banned from the house.

I am lucky in that respect. My mum and brother both support palace. Rest of the family and my husband's brothers don't like football

Has just got MCC Membership and has bought a stripey tie and blazer to wear at Lords with his stuffy chums.

But, has he got the correct attitude? You may wish to check (some joy in your relationship with him this year). A friend went properly equipped to Lords, for his day's cricket, and was told that he could only take one of his two bottles of wine into the ground. He opened, and drank one - while the gate people waited - gave them the empty bottle and took the other in with him.
