I've been feeling sorry for myself for the last three weeks - got a real bar steward of a cold. Then I ventured into Hoofs thread about you, and suddenly my diet of benylin, lemsip, paracetamol, Olbas oil, honey and tixylix seems all very palatable. I won't pretend that I know how you feel because I've never had to endure a chronic condition. But hearing what one of my fellow fans in the ground is having to endure illustrates a strength of character that is admirable. So here's hoping that your defence(s) gets organised quickly, and that your goal of victory gets everybody cheering. And thanks for your update from the treatment room.

I hoped my thread would generate a bit of warmth and well being, but my expectations were far exceeded! I'm hoping Alan goes from strength to strength and is back at Selhurst early in 2017 to watch us march up the league!
