Unsurprising. Although arguably Iraq and Syria aren't really terrorism, as its more related to an ongoing military conflict.

Also the shootings in Zurich yesterday, in which someone opened fire on an Mosque, aren't likely to end up classed as terrorism. Nor will the attacks of the National Socialist Underground in Germany. They tend to get recorded as crimes.

Similarly Thomas Muir, Brevik and the attempted murder by National Action member Zack Davies or the murder Mohammed Saleem tend to get listed more as crimes rather than terrorism.

Simiarly when there is a backlash and right wing groups start targeting Muslims its reported not as terrorism, but hate crimes at best.

The Dresden mosque bombings in September this year were classed as arson attacks, despite links to far right nationalist politics, and targeting mosques in Germany.

It does cite right-wing extremists too in previous months. You might be able to refute certain aspects of that list but it doesn't change much. Again, this is referring to December 2016, so what's been omitted from this month?

I think that's more or less reasonable. I generally don't hold with the idea that mass immigration is good either for the nation of the migrants, or the recipient and that the process must be selective towards the long term interests of both contributing and accepting nations.

The question of being murdered en masse, is a bit questionable, given that risk must be compensated for by the number of lives that are also saved as a result of migration.

But I'd generally agree that restrictions and regulation on any system are necessary to prevent abuse.

If you are referring to the health service then the reliance on foreigners is something that governments have brought on themselves. A failure to invest through fear of damaging the economy with tax increases and more importantly a fear of loss of popularity.

Quite agree that should have been the solution. Raise revenue, prioritise UK employment. Of course that was never going to fly in a country where tax cuts gets you elected, and peoples lives are considered superfluous to profit.

This fits the narrative perfectly though, doesn't it? Attacks on innocent people are acts of terrorism if done by "the enemy" but are either acts of righteous self-defence / acts of lone wolf crazies / just simply normal crimes if perpetrated by "the good guys".

All this western government hand-wringing at the threats posed to their populations is all hypocrisy anyway given all the support they give to the governments of Saudi and the various Emirates.

Have noticed that the most wanted man in Europe could travel from Germany to France then to Italy with no trouble at all.
