The winless runs of last season and recently are easy to group together but are completely different. Last season we were genuinely s***e at times. This season we've played well in 80% of games and then made silly defensive mistakes and and individual errors. Yesterday we didn't and the luck went our way and we racked up a 3-0 win not playing as well as we have in some games. That's why some people still back AP, or at least aren't sure he needs to go. Fixing this to me is about changing small things, not making huge sweeping changes or clearing out and starting again. That's why to me 'transition' is a pretty fair assessment. We're still a work in progress. The above is spot on, in my view. A very good assessment/analysis.
