Damo marshalled the team, and we have missed his leadership during his absence. What also impressed me too, was Flamini came on and picked up the mantra. Liked the look of him when he came on. Just his movement and form. You can he's a classy player.

Punch looks the real leader of the group to me - doesn't stop giving instructions and coordinating our press. MOTM yesterday for sure.

Dammo was definitely MoM - I was particularly impressed with how he kept talking to Wilf to calm him down so that he got on with his job.

If he could play football we'd have a dead cert captain there. Unfortunately captain needs to be guaranteed a start.

What a difference a game makes. Wasn't long ago people were saying he's too old, too slow and makes too many mistakes. Now he's our saviour.

Have their uses but can only take us so far. Jedinak took a few weeks to get up to speed last January and February with him being exposed and out of position or simply giving the ball away in dangerous areas but when he did find form there was no way in hell he was going to see us get relegated. The problem arises when characters can't be replaced on the pitch with other characters and instead they look down at the ground when things don't go well. Or of course the manager doesn't like them or their popularity or influence and wants them out or doesn't even acknowledge what part they play. No surprises there. A lot of it is all about him, until Southampton and players managing defensive drills.
