Hennessey 8 - A couple of good saves and claimed well for a few crosses.

Tomkins 7 - Solid display in not his favourite position, took some risks on the ball however at 2-0 and 3-0 up. Good training ground routine to get his goal.

Dann 7 - Solid, communicated well with the team

Delaney 9 - Captains performance, talking and encouraging the team. Winning headers, blocks, organising. Gobbled up every cross with ease. My MOTM.

Ward 7 - Done well at LB but not tested enough to judge.

Zaha 8 - Defended well, adding grit to his game, a danger too.

McArthur 7 - did his job as expected, helped out the full backs when needed, pushed Southampton into the channels where we wanted them to be.

Ledley 7 - Not his biggest fan but he did well today, seems to do well when the opponents give him time to look up. Smart assist.

Puncheon 8 - Put in a real shift for the team, still going at the end to set up Benteke for 3-0.

Townsend 6 - Didn't really offer much going forward but did put in a shift defensively for a change.

Benteke 8 - Didn't appear to have his best game in many ways but 2 goals scored and no ones complaining. Thought he showed good attitude and character all game, made life difficult for one of the best CB pairings in the PL and pressured Forster into the mistake. Looked to be carrying an injury late in the game but just got on with it.
