Mancini was a great player, and has a good record as manager at some top, high spending clubs, however they are plenty of rumours about his toxic personality. If he came to Palace he would be slumming it, and no doubt as a concession would expect to be in total control. No, no and no from me. Fat Sam is the perfect candidate. If we miss the opportunity to get him then Parish has lost the plot IMHO. There are literally NO realistic and even remotely comparable candidates out there. "How can I remember to keep it all together when half the moon is taken away?"
