I put together a little chart tracking the top 4 leagues standings vs whoscored ratings (most reliable rating system). I then highlighted teams that were performing 5 or more spots above or below their whoscored ranking. Crystal Palace's league standing and whoscored ranking have the highest discrepancy in all 4 leauges. Do with this what you will but if Palace keeps playing the way they have all season you would expect the league positioning to even itself out eventually. Honestly the ONLY thing that is bringing us down is our set piece defense (from open play we are +1 in goal differential this season and the only team in bottom 10 with plus in this stat). If we could defend set pieces we would be a top 10 team easily. Our goal differential from set pieces is -7 with Watford the only other team close at -6. The thing is usually set piece goal differential doesn't impact league standings as much because much fewer are scored in comparison to open play goals (but half of Palace GA are set piece goals). So, the questions is, do we still let Pards go or do we go by stats give him a few more games to see if it will "even itself out"?

Feel SP will give Pards the next two games. If we loose both then sure pressure from U.S. will force SP's hand.
