I'm not sure he's necessarily done well, but more 'achieved survival' and a stability. I can't help but think that its a short term solution. Give it a year or so, and the complaints about progress and style of play will be common place. Plus the guy is as crooked as they come, and we'll be stung big for essentially staying up. I think we either go with an improvement (such as Flores or Woy - who I really rated at Fulham) or stick. Ultimately I think Allerdyce is a step backwards from Pulis, and its not a relegation dog fight yet. I think Pardew probably should go, but I don't see how Big Sam is anything other than 'a safe pair of hands' (unless money is left lying around).

I just can't stand Fat Sam! An average manager with his fingers in the till! Can't see Parish wanting that sort of press attention. Sam won't be progress.

I don't understand why people rip on Big Sam? People were doing it before he even started managing England. In the past 10 or so years, he's done good jobs at Bolton, West Ham, Newcastle and Sunderland. People have a good whinge about his football, but, firstly, is that worse than conceding five to Swansea? And Secondly, do people not remember him at Bolton, where they played quality football? The style of players we have fit what he's had before: big man, tricky wingers and big men at the back. Whether they've got attitude issues or not doesn't matter, because he'll give them a good kick up the arse.

Yeah, why Watford got rid of Flores God only knows! I thought they did fantastically well under him. I'd have him in like a shot, but I doubt he'll dump Espagnol (Is it?) quite so soon after arriving there.
