I don't know... I have a real problem with this. They are professional players and should need no additional motivation. I posted elsewhere that if I was the manager and had to motivate a player I'd immediately get rid of them. Pardew should be thinking about tactics and substitutes, about coaching, training sessions and organizational duties, IMO.

Pardew, to my observations has definitely lost the dressing room. I always thought Rugby players were real thick, but I am starting to believe Soccer, has its more than fair share of brainless individuals. If you are getting paid loadsadosh, wouldn't you try to justify it by really doing your best. To me only Jason seems committed, the back four not having a clue giving away stupid free kicks (stop holding and tugging) and the likes of Cab and Bent just not earning their keep in the middle and up front. I'm beginning to regret the expense I made in coming over from Oz for the Cup Final, which I didnt expect to triumph in, but felt CPFC were in a good position for the 16/17 campaign........ How wrong am I now ?
