Despite leaking goals at the back. The loss of form of cabaye. The ineffective performances of townsend. The lack of options at the back. Unfortunately had this concern, when the transfer window closed. The lack of defensive cover was not adressed. The loss of yannick was not replaced.Even the sale of our captain Mile jedinak was not replaced with a player to screen the back 4. Also jedinak leadership throughout the club. Anyone else feels this?

I presume you are saying that our squad is threadbare so we have little choice other than to pick the players we do?

Who we get is anyone's guess. Will say I have been impressed by Chungy's improvement and attitude since his public outburst. There seems little between him and Townsend most of the time - although admittedly Townsend is better when he is, rarely enough, on top form.

Anyone else feels this? Cabaye has been great in our last three games. IMO Was our MOTM at Leicester and Burnley. Think he is playing the kind of football i expected to see when we first bought him. He is far better going forward than being a defensive midfielder, We have McArthur and Ledley to do that. Pardew wants to attack then let Cabaye free to roam and attack sides.

Cabaye had been pushing forward more, but unfortunately so has macarthur which has left our defence very exposed. I think what pardew would like is cabaye macarthur and puncheon to rotate going forward but they just don't seem to be able to do this and at times (burnley) all three push forward at the same time.
