Premier league points in 2016: Palace - 22 points out of a possible 90 Norwich (who are now championship) - 14 22 points out of 90 is poor. Only 2 better than Newcastle and they went down... How Pardew is still at the club is beyond me. No defending how poor this league form has been in 2016.

Ah but you're forgetting that your stat is taken over two seasons. Last seasons form doesn't count.... Apparently.

Premiership points in last 19 games ( half a season) Palace (Pardew) Points 20 Goal difference -7 (net spend summer window £8.8 mil) Oh,and Palace/Pardew got to a Cup final during that period (included are the last eight games of last season) Quite how Eddie Howe is a serious contender for the England job is beyond me. And how Pulis just recently signed a one year extension is also beyond me. And how Pardew is the devil reincarnated to 70% of Palace fans is also beyond me.

I think it must be the Year of the Toilet in the Chinsse calendar or something. We're seeing a different style of play from last season but still s***e results. Shows that Pardew can change the style of play but even so still can't get results.

Its frustrating as f**k. Take Liverpool and Burnley, both games we were able to f**k ourselves, get back into the game, and then f**k ourselves. I don't mind the Liverpool result, they were an excellent team but this whole start poor, and then only get going in the second half, or after the game has gotten away from us is incredible. Burnley were a bit lucky with their first two (Block hit Mandanda's head, and the save was a freak of power that took it over the line) but then we get back into the game, and are still pushing for the win, away from home, in the last minutes - and get caught in the same kind of break away that resulted in the first two goals - unacceptable. Truth is, away from home, when you've come from 2-0 down, run the clock down in the last minutes. Take the draw, get the point. Its not what you want ideally, but the emphasis has to be on protecting what you have.
