I'm not anti or pro Pardew but agree that something's been amiss since the turn of the year.. whether it's the tactics, leaky defence or not clinical enough in front of goal, with the players we've got it should be far better.. but of all the games we've lost this season, Liverpool apart who were amazing for 65-70mins, in how many of them did we deserve at least a point?.. having been to over half of our league games, and despite what I've said above, I still feel we've deserved at least a point from all the others

We will comfortably avoid relegation, my main issue is lack of progression from last year. I don't agree with the "Comfortably" but as things stand I think there are at least 3 teams with a greater chance of relegation than us. My feeling is that we will hover in the lower reaches but not get cut adrift of a safe place by plummeting into the bottom 3 and the 4th from bottom starts to pull away.It is for this reason that I believe Pardew will survive.

After our spending in the window and the American investment, surprising that many have such low expectations in Pardew's transitional season, although if we just manage to stay up for yet another season, I suppose you could deem it a successful outcome.

I believe our net spend (Not counting add-ons) is approx £15 Mill which really isn't that big in PL terms.

If we are in a transitional season, I would posit that the second half of it should be better than the first. Players should develop better teamwork and know their roles more. If it played out that way, at least Pardew would lay one of his demons to rest.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Apparently, AP has seen 5 wins in 30 games during 2016,which must be one of the worst managerial records since the Premiership was formed.

Not available but I reckon Quique Setien of Las Palmas would be a good shout judging by some of the football his team are playing. They're also a team close to my heart who I like to Palace in many ways.

This is an era of management with transferable skills - gone are the days of first among equals getting the respect of their underlings from having been there and done it - we must all have experienced a boss who has no clue or experience of the field we and they are now in due to the brilliant theories and ideas developed at boardroom level. I'm sure there's a head of HR somewhere who could do a fantastic job, Danny at my local Homebase in Bexhill runs a really tight ship, time to think out of the box guys - know any decent managers who could be brought in from other areas who could reapply their managerial skills to our current situation? Someone from an office at Southern railways HQ or the NHS could be given a new lease of life and have a similar effect on our first XI.
