There was an item in the Sun newspaper which had two Premier League tables showing where teams would be based on 1st and 2nd performances.
The 1st half table shows us rock bottom, and the 2nd half table puts us 5th.
It's ironic that last season we didn't let that many goals in but couldn't score and now we're scoring plenty we're conceding loads.

It's when the manager decides which player is going to get pulled off.

I think it was Rodney Marsh who claimed that Alf Ramsey threatened to pull him off at half time and he resplied that at QPR they just got oranges and a cup of tea

..hardly, in seven games this season we have allowed the opposition one goal, I know it's one too many but I bet a few of them were rather fortunate as well, in all honesty we have had one really bad result against Burnley in relation to experience in this league, we conceded too many against Liverpool (who hasn't) and too many against Leicester.. who decided to remember how they won the damn thing last season and we did actually play quite well against them procession wise, everybody must forget last seasons results because everything is very different now, it sounds like our fans just want him to fail now because they are cross we are not in the top ten, it is very sad.

Conceding 10 goals in 3 games is just unacceptable & now Pardew's said that clean sheets aren't a priority. Well something needs to change & that means changing tactics &/or formations. So don't say we're playing attractive footie, which may be true, & stopping the opposition isn't important. It certainly will be if we get relegated having scored the most goals in history of any relegated EPL team (you know how we love to break records.) Please think about it Al, you know you want to.

He would say that wouldn't he given the goals conceded - or make himself look even more foolish!

Which is worrying (I haven't personally gone through the league tables to check this) but, apparently, when it comes to the relegation scrap invariably it is the teams who have conceded the least goals that survive not the ones who have scored the most.
