Keep hearing this comment from AP .What manager in there right mind does this at start of season in premiership, when not even established, with so much at stake. Surly got to be done gradually or pre season .

The only transition I can see is more possession, getting more players forward, leaving us short at the back...and still losing

Don't you see? Pardew's catering for the neutrals that watch. Goals galore!

Maybe it's all an attempt to get us first on MOTD, can't wait to lose 6-4 to Man City.

I can see both sides of the argument, let's be fair its a slight cop out it give him a season of low/no expectations other than survival but on the other hand we was a one trick pony that needed a overhaul. The board will be happy staying up but if we do and he stays then next season I expect to hear him say his had time to build a squad and we will give it a good go.

To me it's identical to Ollie's spell in charge in the prem. We are not playing badly in possession, but without the ball we are very poor. Focus and application are lacking and to me it seems we need a bad Cop in the backroom staff to keep this group honest. We cannot keep falling asleep at vital times and we need a Jedi type to shield the centre halves and LEAD.
We are playing some nice football, creating more chances, but if you need to score 3 or more just to get a point, you ain't gonna get many points.

This is a good appraisal IMO. Not sure we need a Jedi type of player who isn't as mobile but fvckling God do we need a leader. Dann to s silent as a captain. The manager and coach certainly aren't leading and they're content "this is the happiest group of players." Well this cr&p could become more immediate than whether the group is happy or not and happy doesn't mean switched on. This shower looks like it knows they're the bollox until they get turned over/found out in the obligatory 1st 45 mins in shock or when they've looked the nuts in the 2nd half and come away with fvck all again.

All three goals conceded today were as a result of defenders not doing their job. Mandanda should have saved the second. Pardew puts the team out but it's the players that should take responsibility for their errors.
We played well today for large parts of the game but made some stupid errors that we got punished for.
