Well you can't compensate people who have died because of NHS incompetence or shortages. My experiences of the NHS recently has been bordering on comedy. It is becoming almost pointless to go to a GP and if you have to go to hospital for anything serious, chances are they will lose your test results. It beggars belief. Now I'm sure people get saved every day on operating tables but judging by my family experience, they are the lucky ones.

Sorry by compensate, I mean mitigate, in so much as using that taxation to improve NHS funding to compensate for the increased burden as well as community based projects to improve the area, or subsidise housing costs for UK Nationals etc.

I can tell you, as an experience IT geek, that the reasons they lose your results in hospitals is down to poor infrastructure and systems interoperability but I do agree. The state had an obligation to its citizens to increase funding accordingly to compensate for increased pressure, and should have recovered that from those companies profiting.

All true but once again avoiding the obvious. Whey not just cut immigration and reduce the need for more and more funding. The tax benefit from increased population is clearly not manifesting itself in an improved NHS. Quite the opposite. The rate of population increase must also be a factor as well as numbers. We are playing perpetual catch up.

As for immigrants funding the NHS when they're younger... what about when they get older?

All you are advocating is a pyramid scheme!

Blimey no offence intended. Happy to hear you've got health insurance.

Immigrants have kids but of course an economic system predicated on eternal growth isn't sustainable.
