First XI has come on leaps and bounds but our squad depth is still very poor. Got to fix this in January, let alone next summer.

Don't like the bit about Mandanda forcing teammates to play from the back even if they're not happy to receive the ball.

The reason we're pressed so easily at home is that any opposition manager can see that we like to mess around in our third but don't have the players to do it IMO.

This isn't new ... Hennessey did the same and I always wondered if he was instructed to do it. Steve used to kick up field and his kicking was quite precise.

Denial is not just a river in Egypt

..sadly liverpool are not the same and we have achieved so much against them due to our calamity pace, we are now more level headed and teams can at last predict what we are doing during games and understand where to stop us, no Bolasie and no Gayle and no confusing runs to other anonymous strikers liverpool could not cope! ....they will have more chance now.

Liverpool have to be favourites to secure all the points.A third sucessive defeat and of course two at 'Home' will of course see the "Pardew Out" brigade in full voice.

At this early stage of the season it does look as though Sunderland (Unless Allardyce goes back) and Hull will fill two of the relegation places but it is not beyond the bounds of possibility that we could slip into that zone. That said there is always Burnley who haven't been doing well on their travels.Personally I think we will be OK but maybe only just !

I agree Willo. Also it is good sometimes to keep the glass half empty, then the disappointment is not as bad!!! Personally, i think we will be pretty comfortable

It wouldn't be Palace without the roller coaster. I wouldn't know what to do if we were safe by Feb....
