Just watched this. Christ I will be lucky to see him the way he's going. Such a shame

Nope. He's never had the greatest voice but now he doesn't even seem to have half of what he did have.

Optimistic as ever

In my pomp I used to like Genesis and I do like Phil Collins. He must be roughly my age.

In terms of football, I had heard that he supported QPR but then I heard he supported Tottenham - I don't really know where his allegiance lies.

I must admit by the look of the bloke I do wonder if he'll make it through the shows. Good luck to him though at least he's off the booze. Lets hope he's not celebrity death number 324 of the year.

His song "I Can't Dance" will never be more apt than for those shows.

"Activism

Collins was appointed a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO) in 1994, in recognition of his work on behalf of the Prince's Trust.[1] Collins has stated he is a supporter of animal rights and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). In 2005 he donated autographed drum sticks in support of PETA's campaign against Kentucky Fried Chicken.[2]

In February 2000, Collins and his wife Orianne founded Little Dreams Foundation, a non-profit organisation that aims to "...realise the dreams of children in the fields of sports and art" by providing future prodigies aged 4 to 16 years with financial, material, and mentoring support with the help of experts in various fields.[3] Collins took the action after receiving letters from children asking him how they could break into the music industry. Mentors to the students who have benefited from his foundation include Tina Turner and Natalie Cole. In 2013 he visited Miami Beach, Florida, to promote the expansion of his foundation.[4]

Collins supports the South African charity Topsy Foundation, which provides relief services to some of South Africa's most under-resourced rural communities through a multi-faceted approach to the consequences of HIV/AIDS and extreme poverty. He donates all the royalties earned from his music sales in South Africa to the organisation.[5][6]

In common with most mildly physically deformed individuals, Collins definitely 'supports' Queens Park Rangers Football Club and Laughing Stock. Not Spurs. Probably. Football 'supporting' first began in South America in the early 13th Century however this proved initially short-lived as football itself was still to be 'invented'. The closest 'thing' was a range 'of' self-assembly furniture, although this was nothing 'like' it at all and had also not been invented at that time'.' The 13th Century was invented and back-dated in 1633, before which people just sort of knocked about not really knowing when stuff was. Many birthdays were missed and Clinton Cards shops were rubbish. Collins acknowledges that Spurs are dreadful, though admits not as dreadful as QPR or his musical output."

[Oh, it was. Gone missing. Disgraceful. Wiki are clearly having issues with hacking, etc. Dunno who to trust.]
