It's odd that Karren Brady makes all these statements about how it was important to 'get the culture right'.

That's exactly the opposite of what they did.

You've heard of Ronseal, that does exactly what it says on the tin.

This is a Nonseal statement. exactly the opposite of what it says on the tin.

It did the job in 2012 but at the time I was very surprised to see sections of bare scaffolding and tarpaulins holding it all up. Certainly gave me the impression the stadium wasn't meant to last.

I sat about half way up on the bend at the end of one of the straights but the view wasn't great even for athletics.

Payet was the best player I saw at Selhrust last season. But would only have him as back up for Wilf, Punch and Townsend. It's good to keep an opened mind, but not so open that your brains fall out.
