We waited a very long time to get him over the line but thank God we did. He's awesome and seems to be a great lad as well. It was a huge amount of money but you get what you pay for and now he's up to speed he's making a huge difference

I think Benteke has a magnetic forehead. Chungy's free-kick was going nowhere near him until the last minute then it sort of hit this 5 yard field around Benteke's noggin and gravitated towards him. I think we ought to just start crossing into the box without even looking up, 9 times out of 10 Benteke will appear from nowhere and make the ball bounce off his nut.

One adjustment they've made the past few games is to have everyone back for corners. A tricky call, since without an outlet you can get hemmed in. But it seems to be working. Bentkeke has looked strong in our box and had several clearances, and with Mandanda it looks like the defence is better being patient at the back and not always giving it away by hoofing it up. A good adjustment so far.
