Adebayor says Palace's struggle didn't suit him

I tried performing once. I opened with what i thought was a belter and completely original material: "Anyone here been shagged by a catholic priest?" (my idea was to parody those corny openings where comics go "any americans in here tonight" and then proceed to pick on them) Sadly, before I could get to my planned punch line - "There's nobody here from my old school then?" - my jaunty voice was drowned out by furious booing. I couldn't even hear the compere banging the gong. So I must admit, I feel a bit of sympathy for Emmanuel Adebayor, when he complains the Selhurst Park arena was wrong for him - and not the other way around. Read this and see if you think he's being arrogant. He reminds me of the faded film star who said "I'm still big, it's just the pictures that got smaller"

"I'm so world class".......but only if my team mates are too. Not a quote but I think it sums him up. He bust a gut for that goal against Watford. I didn't see the same desire thereafter.
