Felt more comfortable when we played Newcastle last season (at ours). Any game where we're three up I feel comfortable in.

Having read so much negative anti-club sentiment for so long I think its only natural for the optimistic among us to enjoy the moment. And given a choice between optimism and pessimism the former wins hands down so despite it being "you" that asked all of us to not celebrate the two wins with bit of optimism I think it great to have some genuine positivity. I never asked any one not to celebrate two wins with a bit of optimism though. I just pleaded for a bit of sanity and realism. After those two wins it was not logical to assume we were now a shoe-in for Champions League football next season. Last night shows us just how fragile we still are. Losing Scott Dann due to a hamstring, following the loss of Tomkins on Sunday and continued absence of Souare leaves us very weak defensively. Always celebrate victories and look forward to more.... just don't be unrealistic and ignore potential pitfalls that can set us back.

Excellent post.My view entirely. And thank f*** we've got those 7 points already vs teams we knew we must get points from before these injuries or the pressure would really be on. Hopefully 1 or 3 more at Sunderland but we need to come out of any scrapes undamaged.
