If Wilf played as he did on the weekend on a consistent basis I believe he wouldnt be a Palace player. What makes him 'our level' is his lack of consistent world beater performances. Like AP/SP said, if Wilf was to play consistently well, adding a goal and assist every 2/3 games then we would be a £30 million+ player. But his lack of contribution to goals makes him the player he is, and is why he is playing for us; remember Pochetino and Ferguson both hailed him as 'the next Ronaldo'. With regards to his contract, farce that he wasnt offered a new one when winning POTY. Imagine if your company promised you a new contract and then failed to deliver after being 'employee of the year'?

If Spurs are interested in him now, and Everton with Bolasise, if they could provide consistency those teams would be Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid etc.
