Gotta wonder sometimes just how assertive a lot of you lot would be once stepping aside from your keyboard. All entitled to an opinion, don't condone anything he's done myself even in the slightest, it's completely wrong, but to tarnish someone's entire character by making comments that "he's always been a wrogen" and basing that on the fact that your from the same area is just spreading horse s***, I just thought I should step in and defend someone I know personally very well when someone else is making statements and spreading bulls*** with no substance. But forget that you all clearly know the kid more than me and your all holier than thou without a single skeleton in your closets. I'm not sure why you quoted something that I posted in order to refute allegations that other people made that had nothing to do with me at all. I merely quoted his court record which is irrefutable and shows Innis in a very poor light. According to the media he was spared prison on the basis that it might have damaged his career which I find to be a very unusual reason as prison invariably damages everyone's career

It seems strange that you can kill someone by hitting them on the head with a bottle and get life but it does not carry a long sentence if they are lucky to live. I would give a long suspended sentence to first time offenders and any crime involving drink would get a drinking ban as part of the sentence.

The original quote has something to do with you because you responded to disagree with me and my post had nothing to do with anyone's take on the incidents reported, just the statement made by the first person.

Palace have confirmed this is his last chance. Surely this is a better option than just sacking him? Without an incentive and support to improve his behaviour I imagine he could be more of a threat to society. Avoiding prison isn't a bad thing if the problems he has are addressed and hopefully the club can get him the help he needs. After all, prison is supposed to offer correction not just be punitive. I imagine the judge's ruling is based on the expected support he will receive and the benefit he could offer to the local community, as well as the lasting damage a prison sentence would have on his future. Were this to have been say an old pro they may not expect the same leniency.
