In the UK, in the south east, interest from a few clubs. Think we might be in for him? Good left foot and strong, always been good when I've watched him for Ghana but never really seemed to make it here. Would be an interesting one for sure if we are in for him

I'm glad u wrote this, I've just seen this on sky sports app and found myself thinking along similar lines to u.
I think he did prove himself over here just not for long enough as he had some success then moved on for the money.
With him being left footed and something abit different I think a season long loan would be a realistic option far more so than bamford was!

Chelsea were reportedly interested a couple of months ago [Link] but I’d be very surprised if he ends up there. He’s more likely to return to Sunderland or even drop down to the Championship. Doubt if we would go for him now, but then stranger things have happened.

i can't take players seriously that play football in China , they would rather take the cash in some shot league rather than test themselves against the best so no thanks from me!

Knew someone would post this as soon as I saw it on SSN. Absolutely terrible idea, been taking a ridiculous pay check in piss poor leagues for about 5 years.

This is a weird thread. Why would someone who's sold out to the Chinese pre-retirement league want to come back to fully competitive football at a fraction of the wages? And, more importantly, why would any credible top flight side be interested?

For the first question : because even the Chinese have worked out that he's pony. For the second : Goodness knows.

Because the team he's at signed hulk so he lost his place. And he's going to reading with the Chinese club subsidising most of his wages.

The Gyan I saw playing for Sunderland was right-footed.I recall him being strong and quick, took free kicks when a wall was formed and a player who has played the lone-striker role many times.
