Just back from a nasty injury for Forest but had a fantastic scoring record for them up when he suffered it. The Forest fans seem to rate him highly.

23 and a '£5.5m man' according to the local paper. Stocky looking fella.

I predict he'll be at 1 in 2 or better by Christmas and his value will go up.

Good player was hoping we would aim a bit higher. Darragh Mcathony had him at Peterborough along with Gayle and thought Gayle was a better player.

Forest paid the best part of £6m, so we'd be expected to double that, for a player that's been out with a knee injury for 14 months; sounds a tad unambitious and also risky to me. Plus he's not as tall as Gayle so would be categorised as 'sub-midget' in the HOL taxonomy

Would be perfect for our style of play.

High up on my wishlist, and ASTRONOMICALLY ahead of Diafra Sakho, Babacar, etc.

It was the '£5.5m man' that caught my eye. Obviously during his injury his contract will have been running down. If he didn't sign a new one then he would make a fantastic choice to push Wickham all the way.

I feel three at that sort of level might be an idea. Make them all believe they have a chance if they play and train to their absolute best and that failure to do so would be their undoing. Bringing in a star will crush Wickham because the outlay alone would mean the star would need to play.

I wouldn't fancy it if he was, say, £12m. The idea would be to get him while there's that flicker of uncertainty about the injury lingering. If he got 1 in 2 by Christmas and played most of the time, then his value would roof.

Well its certainly a long name. I am against this signing on the grounds that we'd never be able to come with a song about him.

A bit too raw for the prem still, needs another couple of seasons in the champs to really find his game.

Would definitely be found wanting against top defenders.

From what I hear he has a terrific attitude and is a laid back character off the pitch.Certainly got the pace and the physical power and is a striker who is not afraid to miss. But in my humble estimation, not for us at this present time.
