Some time ago I came on here talking about Palace ciggy cards and other things similar - bcos we were pretty much off the radar before 1969 there isn't much oldy worldy palace stuff from the era of rosettes and rattles - Preston, barnsley, Blackpool, Huddersfied fine but for the likes of us, or more recently teams like Hull and Reading - good 2nd class clubs but lacking in notorious history. Now there was a card game with beautiful illustrations of players ... 'Goal' two editions in 57/58 and 63/64. as promised, though NO artist, I have painted a Palace Goal Card complete with club badge, nickname in the correct kit for that season. It's not bad, but needs a bit of touching up, it is a noble effort. I am an IT dunce - saved it as JPeg and PDF but can't provide a link. Can anyone help out - when you see the 'card' you will see it needs a touch of improvement here and there but I'm working at a place till Friday with free access to a scanner so we need to get going. In the meantime I'll put up some goal Cards from the net to whet your appetite.
