The bin dippers are getting charged £200 if they want to buy a seat as memorabilia from the old main stand. 12500 seats = 2.5 million. Many are up in arms about this, saying the club should give them away free, and it's simply more profiteering from the fans. Good business acumen I think. If the club gave them away free they would simply end up on ebay. Would you pay £200 if,and hopefully when, we get a new main stand?

Absolutely not. Awful waste of money and besides, what would you even do with it? All I can think is maybe attach it to a wall outside or something but then it would just make the garden look tacky and isn't even particularly comfortable!

I think they come in a presentation box. It's sports memorabilia and supply and demand. There are fans across the world of the scousers who I imagine, would be happy to pay the £200.If ours when on sale I don't think the demand would be there. Anyway the funny part of the story is, unlike west ham fans, who ripped their seats up on the last home game of the season. Now they know why.

I'd love to see the offer, as it presumably comes complete with a very through, but basic, definition of what purchasing something actually entails. Does the 200 quid include postage? As I assume that the cost of sending these, recorded delivery, to Thailand is pretty steep.
