to use his normal strong arm tactics to keep him....filtering stuff into local papers, making Pogba looking like the trouble maker, trying to get him on a tiny contract. Good on Pogba, he resisted and told slur purple After Moyes debacle another stain on his legacy. How much did the 'Alex Ferguson' Stand cost. Bet it was less than the £100 million plus add ons he's now cost them.

for a player that went completely missing in the Euro final, that's a heck of a lot of money.

Basically divide everything by ten and you're about where you were in the mid-90s. So Chris Sutton would be worth about 50m now. Pogba is therefore about 10m and Higuan 7.3m - sounds about right to me. And Benteke for 3.25m is a bargain. Phil Babb cost more than that back in the 90s! Pogba still has not proved himself to be that top level of quality you reserve for the likes of Ronaldo and Messi, not even close. Theres only two players in the world worth coughing up that kind of money, Messi for obvious reasons, and Ronaldo (but more because he sells shirts).

I'm not even sure they're worth it, unless you really have money to burn on the other 10 positions around them. United should have learned their lesson with Di Angel or whoever it was they paid 52m for. A very good player, but a single great player needs 10 very good players around him. To get the real value of a 100m player, say like Ronaldo or Messi, you probably need to have 500m worth of transfer payment players on the pitch.

Man U should just stop buying Argies, most of them have been expensive and s***, apart from the one who f***ed them over. Always admired Tevez for that.

I will love it if he goes to Real Madrid. It just occurred to me this morning that Man Utd actually sold Paul Pogba to Juventus for £700,000 a few years ago - the same amount we got from Spurs for John Bostock!
