Been chatting with a Forest-supporting work colleague today, who was asking me about Dwight Gayle. Apparently, there's rumour going around Forest circles that we're showing interest in Lansbury and that a possible swap deal may be one solution. Lansbury was touted as the Next Big Thing at Arsenal a few years ago and the Forest guy admitted that pretty much anything good on the pitch came through him this season, although he "picks up too many yellows". FWIW, I think he's a pretty good player and would improve our midfield options in the squad - but don't we need new first team quality players?

Think it will be an improvement on Ledley. But if we start with Cabaye and McArthur, he will struggle to get a starting place imo.
