I recall Chris Coleman taking him on 'Loan' to Coventry. Scott Dann was at Coventry at the time.In the Coventry squad in those days were Julian Gray,Michael Hughes,Leon McKenzie, Gary Borrowdale and Wayne Andrews. Why bother trying to sign Schmeichel we might as well go and get Manuel Neuer! I am sure he would want to come to Palace as well. Also before Willo starts I am sure that someone at the club tried to get him here on loan when he was about 12!

Schmeical is shyte...he's just trading off of his Dad's name and joe public do the same. He makes some horrendous clangers and is no better than what we have.
