I would laugh till my eyes bleed if Mourhino turns up for the talk and decides that he doesnt want the job after all.

Not as much as I would laugh if he f***s things up there as badly as he did at Chelsea earlier this season.

And if Pardew achieved with Palace what LVG did with U****d they would build an 18-foot statue of him outside the Fairfield Halls.

And one of the few good things if Jose takes over, should spell the end of Ashley Youngs Manure career.

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan

I know you're joking, but it's still worth commenting that he has managed Chelsea...twice...so plastic fans are not an issue for him.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Mourinho always starts strong with new clubs as he pitches player against player in order to get them performing at a peak competitive edge. This is exhausting, though, and has a diminishing return such that, by the end of his second year in charge, the drop off in performance is notable.

That's why it was a shock that Chelsea gave him a contract extension after his second year back, because he rarely makes it to a third season at a club and almost never finishes it if he does.

Man Utd are selling their soul for immediate results. The worry (for them), is that they may never get it back.

You could understand Man Utd appointing Van Gaal given his stellar record.Prior to going to 'Old Trafford' his teams had won 19 trophies covering 3 countries, he had won the title with Ajax (3), Barcelona (3), AZ Alkmaar (1) and Bayern Munich (1).He had won the Champions League and the UEFA Cup.Great record and he seemed such an impressive appointment at the time.

When you say van Gaal's been sacked by manure, do you mean they poured manure over him or filled his car up with manure so he'd get the hint he'd been sacked?

You have shown me the future of managerial dismissals.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)
