Just a quick update. Although I`m logged in the system isn`t allowing me to buy tickets as I am not a season ticket or member. I phoned the ticket box office who told me this was to stop Man U fans gaining entry. I informed the lady that we were travelling 500 miles from Dundee and assured her all we wanted to do was watch the game at Selhurst. She refused to sell me tickets but told me to email customer services to see if they could help. To tell you the truth I`m more than angry with this service.

If I were you I'd join the drinks and meet up in London and then when those going to Wembley leave get the train down to Norwood Junction and watch the game in the pub. The Cherry Trees, Albion, Victory Club and Jolly Sailor are all within 5 minutes of the station and will all have the match on. Dees will be welcome wherever we are.

Thanks Nth Kent Eagle. Looks like that's what we`ll do. I was told that the Albert Tavern was a good pub to watch the game.

I moved away from the area years ago so don't visit South Norwood other than for matches so couldn't say which is best. However, you can walk past all 4 within about 7 minutes walking so you can check out the atmosphere.

Thanks you have been really helpful. We are staying in Croydon and are so looking forward to the game. I was hoping to get tickets for the final but will settle for someplace with a good atmosphere. That's why I thought Selhurst Park would have been good. Heres hoping for a victory.

Palace fans will be heading in droves from East Croydon so no doubt the Porter and Sorter by the station or the Wetherspoons in George St will be the early starting point before they head for Victoria. Victoria Station will be a sea of Palace having one on the way. Keep reading this thread and the BBS on cpfc.org to see whether Covent Garden, Baker St or wherever is the best meet up after Victoria or whether everyone will be heading straight for the allocated West Side pubs at Wembley. How on earth 10,000 Palace fans will get in is anyone's guess.

Any idea if there will be ticket sales on the day? Looks like the ticket sales have been taken down online.
