Has to be some fines / suspensions stemming from this game, right? Not that it makes any difference to us, but it irks me that Wickham and Jedi have faced - correctly - the penalty for their individual sins while I see no news about Fellani. The goof was getting his hair pulled "sex-masochism" style, but he threw the elbow twice. Wickham was having his shirt ripped off and his "elbow" was more of a move to shirk that grip, rather than intent to make contact.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Dembele and Lamela should both get bans. Fellaini should, along with Huth but we'll see. No mention of it yet as you say. Pochettino should have been sent to the stands last night as well. Might've been trying to diffuse it but you can't come on the pitch. Spurs are going to get a huge fine either way.

If Fellaini gets a ban it's only for league games, not the cup, according to BBC. "In the light of Tottenham's Dele Alli receiving a three-match ban for his punch on West Bromwich Albion's Claudio Yacob, it is hard to see Fellaini escaping similar sanction. The consolation will be that any suspension will cover three league games and leave him available for the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace." [Link]

Fellaini and Huth have been charged, hopefully Fellaini contests it and it gets heard after he plays next or gets extended for a frivolous appeal.

The ban would cover domestic games and, if it's for 3 matches, they are assuming that's the 3 league games left. If it gets extended - or heard after the weekend fixtures - it would cover the final. From that BBC link "Should Fellaini be found guilty and suspended, he would still be available for the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace because United have three league games left."

Thanks for the correction. I'll be going to see the eye doctor now!

Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele has also been charged with an alleged act of violent conduct during the 2-2 draw. The FA said Dembele's alleged eye-gouge on Diego Costa is more serious than a normal charge of violent conduct. That means a three-game ban "is clearly insufficient" if he is found guilty
