As a lot of London is now impossible to park due to permit holders only, I would look to park on the edge. Edited by Epsom Eagle (23 Apr 2016 8.49am)

The station near me is Oxted you can park in the underground car park for free get a travel card and go straight through to Clapham or Victoria etc. It's quite easy have a seat and bring a few beers for the journey.

Raynes Park is 1 stop from Wimbledon where the trains are fast, or stay on a possible slow one that doesn't take that long anyway. You will also find it easy to get back to with more trains than you get to the small stations on the Oxted, Caterham, Redhill lines. But get there early. Marathon runners might be doing the same so you might have to park a bit further away. Anywhere around the houses you'll be fine.

Agree Raynes Park option is probably best. Nice fast regular service to Waterloo. Also only 30 minutes from M3 at Sunbury - for those coming from west country.

There are no fast trains to Waterloo from Wimbledon on a Sunday they're all stoppers (only 4 stops though) but it is one station closer than Raynes Park & has about 12 trains an hour. It also has street parking on Worple Road & some of the turnings off of it. The yellow lines are only operational Monday - Saturday. Just be careful & read the parking signs. As Rudi says it's real easy to get back to after the match as trains leave Waterloo every few minutes.

I've booked private drive parking through Just Park for a tenner. 15 mins walk from the stadium but just of the North Circular so expect to be off swiftly. Its cheaper too compare to 3 train tickets! Originally posted by i_8_clowns
