Excited to see my first game on April 13. Just bought tix from the official site and got seats AW U 1/94 and 95. Is that front row? Last row? Is there even a bad seat in the house? I couldn't find a seating map online.

I think that's Row 1.

Hope you like the smell of sweaty footballer.

This is an old pic from Google images, you'd be slightly more to the right of centre and will have the away fans to your right.

*if you buy tickets by clicking on "Choose Seats" instead of "Quick Seats" you will see a map showing available/unavailable/restricted view seats for you to select individually

Another problem (with most seats in the Arthur) if it's a sunny day you'll be squinting most of the game - wear a cap

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

i used to have my season ticket in row 5. I swapped it a few years ago for row 22 because theres a little more protection when it's tipping down, fingers crossed that won't be an issue for you.

Being at pitch level, you can miss out on the action in the far corners of the ground, but on the upside, it does offer you the ability to share your opinion on the linesman's professional prowess at a range where you can see the whites of his eyes.

If you've got an Iphone there's a free app called Crystal Palace Fan Chants. It's a bit of fun and good for hooking up to the bluetooth in your car and singing along with the volume turned up.

We do like a sing song

one piece of warning. in the first row, there is VERY little leg space. if you are over 5 10 your knees will be wedged up against the rail all match

If it's raining you'll get wet and if it's not raining you'll get wet, and mind you don't get hit by flying balls when they do turn the sprinklers off or get pecked on the nose by an eagle. All off-set by being able to chat up the Crystals as they pass.

Claret and blue with a touch of gout too
