If Sturbridge could keep fit he'd rival aguero for ability and impact. Potential to be the leagues best striker. Sad

totally agree , he has it in abundance , but sadly he is mentally fragile with injuries , really doesn't have the confidence .

I have never seen a sub stretch as much as he does and not the usual 5 second quad stretches like most players do . at one time he had a theraband , never seen that before

No comparison really Bamfraud found his level at Middlesbrough. He might turn out to be good one day, but he is certainly a long way off it yet.

I think that might be just overstating the case, but he'd be very close.

Reminds me of Louis Saha, who'd probably have been on the all time greats, had his legs not been made of cheap sugar glass.

I don't think Bamford will turn out to be any good. I think were that likely, we'd have seen some evidence of it by now. By "any good", I mean I doubt he'll ever prove Premier League quality. I suspect he'll end up being a Jordan Rhodes (if he recovers from the setbacks of this season)...destined to shine in the Championship but not appealing to top flight sides.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Newcastle may be interested in signing Bamford, despite £10m+ price tag:

Surely even they wouldn't be mad enough to pay that for him would they? I know he got goals at 'Boro, but...

If you're looking for a striker that has a proven record in the championship then there's a case to look at him - especially if you're resigned to losing a few of your 'stars' following relegation. Knowing the Ashley/Charnley m.o. they'll be holding out to sell after the Euros in the hope that their players have a good tournament & increase in value.

Not sure what they'll receive as a year one parachute payment.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Might do alright in the PL if he came up and stayed with the people he came up with. Knowing the set up might help and and that connection with your teammates could get those first few goals early, after that it's all about confidence of the ability actually is there.

Or he could end up being another Frazier Campbell.

Either way, f*ck him, little pretty boy doesn't deserve to be playing in the PL with his attitude

I was never impressed. Just not good enough at PL level - anyone paying 10m wants their head examined

10m is a lot to pay for a Championship player. I'd imagine they'll be trying to get him on loan. He really does need to step down a level, and get experience and regular games.

Mourinho sold Lukaku because he didn't like his attitude.

The money offered was pretty good too (28m by Everton). That's a lot of money for a player you're probably not going to play, especially if you're not keen on their attitude.
