If we have the "best league in the world" and the richest why have we not got a team to compete with the best in Europe.

It tends to get referred to as "the most exciting league in the world" these days. Most people realise that the Spanish, German and possibly the Italian leagues are now stronger.

Surely 'best league' suggests that 20 teams should be considered, rather than just the top 1 or 2?

Which is why we get the most European spots along with Germany and Spain, despite not having as many winning teams of late as they both have.

It's funny that in a season where Leicester City are leading a four-way title race in England, whilst PSG, Juve, Bayern and Barca take a leisurely stroll to their respective titles, that people still can't see the clear difference in what the Premier League offers.

The competition of the domestic leagues, every week our teams are basically playing cup finals where as the others can go weeks without breaking sweat. Fair enough the prem ain't technically all that but the high intensity each team plays week in week out definitely leaves them at a disadvantage.

If our officials continue to behave the way they have done this season the PL will before long become a joke.
