Steve Brennan from 1977 Youth Cup Final with Gilbert, Nicholas, Sansom etc - died last year. Kevin Dare and Les Carter from the 1978 team. Great nights.

Now I don't have to tell you good folks what's been happening in our beloved little town. Sheriff murdered, crops burned, stores looted, people stampeded, and cattle raped. The time has come to act, and act fast. I'm leaving.

Gareth Graham. Ginger haired captain of the Youth Team, really good player, suffered a terrible injury ust at the age he would have broken through

Gareth (or "Ginge" as he has been known in some circles !) and I have talked on numerous occasions in recent times when he has been involved in non-league. Was coaching at Croydon Athletic last season, he has now moved to Chipstead where Athletic's former manager, Antony Williams has taken over at the helm. Lovely lad who still retains his "Northern Irish" accent !

Chris Sharpling was always on the fringes of the first team, but never materialised.

On a separate note, I once saw Lee Hills in Chicagos in Basildon Festival Leisure mincing around like some perfumed ponce.

Before many of you were born..Hugh Brophy a young Irish lad.
Micky Cook was another promising player who did not make it.
