If memory serves me correct then Leicester had a far better infrastructure and squad in place even in the season WE went up. Since then they have seen Vardy score more goals than he did in since his days in the Northern Premier League. They also had their present influential players such as Mahrez; Morgan; Schmiekel; and Drinkwater already on their books.

We have been building a squad for the past six years - starting with almost nothing. I am far from jealous of what Leicester are achieving and hope they win the title. For us, however, it will be several more years before we can genuinely look to gain a top six spot.
