Today on Sky: Crystal Palace have made a 27 millions euros offer to Juventus to sign striker Simone Zaza, according to Tuttosport in Italy. Palace are in the market for a new striker and have been linked with a host of players in Serie A over the past week. Zaza joined Juventus during the summer transfer window but has only made 11 appearances for the club. West Ham are also being linked with the striker. My mistake, nothing new under the sun (as they say) but .. 27 million euros - must be some player and, critically, would he adapt to the Premier League when many haven't? Still say Jermaine Defoe would be a sounder short term investment for half, or less, than 27m euros.

£27m?? we don't even have that much to spend on transfers. Next they'll be saying the new investment of £50m is being reallocated into getting Babacar,ffs.
