but given what we spent...if we could get 4-5m for ledders surely on similar wages would it be bad backup to the regulars? i know were PL now and apparantly were "loaded" but 4-5m is 4-5m in anybodies money. barton is more PL experienced than ledders and would fo just as good job. just my humble opinion mind.

Id rather Himmler played in our central midfield. Barton is an abomination. He and Ravel Morrison should both be hanged after a long and lengthy public trial for being complete and utter belters.
And on that man citeh affair, he reacted the way he did as he wanted to take one of their team with him...and fair f***s, I wouldav done the same, pretty much all of us would have given the circumstances and what was at stake..lat least he cared more about the team than himself in that situation...I like players who will take one for the team. Why should we have anyone in our team that has violently assaulted another person?? He's a scumbag. Fxck him. I hope he burns himself on an iron this very evening!
If I do jury service I will almost certainly deliver a guilty verdict.

I do rate Joey Barton but for me he doesn't really fit the mould of the type of players we are bringing into the club, nor does Adebayor and for that reason I would be surprised if we brought in either.

Purely on playing terms, he isn't good enough to displace what we have in an already crowded position. That's without considering what a grade A t*** he is.
The most impressive thing Barton's achieved in his career is convincing people he's anything more than a Championship midfielder.
