Where is Norbert? He hasn't posted for ages -he was doing some top class trolling a while back!

I went off to support QPR at the beginning of last season cos when they came up they spent loads of money and bought a load of the players Palace were after. I was totally wrong about them though, they were a load of sh*t . So I came back to support Palace near the end of the season cos they were playing really well. This season, arsenal and Chelsea are still too expensive and Watford , Bournemouth and Norwich aren't gonna be any good. Looks like palace are spending a bit of dosh so I'm back at Selsdon Park next season lads. PTID

Ha ha excellent stuff- welcome back!

With 20 clubs competing for your support every year Simon Parrish will be very pleased to hear you're back.

Agents do not need to sign up to football forums to start rumours, They give the reporter at the D.Mirror a fiver and he will put it in the paper.

Better to give them a tenner and put in a real paper!.

Not so much a conspiracy theory but...

...when a player is over priced, like Austin for example; why doesn't the agent approach all interested clubs, taking from them QPR's asking price to be put in a pot on the agreement that if they pay the ridiculous asking price, they forfeit their share. The pot is then split between the "losing" teams. The "winning" team, in this case would pay £30m for Austin, £15m publicly and £15m privately. The losing team, let's say based on 6 in the original pot, would each get back £18m back. That wouldn't happen though. The agent would obviously have to let on to the selling team that this arrangement had been made, the selling team would drop their price and then all 6 teams would make their reasonable bids.
