Watching Gold Cup while on holiday in America. They just mentioned that Tottenham is looking to loan out USA international DeAndre Yedlin and Palace was among several teams who expressed interest. (Newcastle and Bournemouth were the others) Has anyone else reported this? I dont remember hearing it but i've been on holiday so I might have missed it. If true, it definitely shows what Pardew is trying to do. Yedlin is as fast if not faster than Bolasie.

watching as well. had not heard that. the only thing i heard was that spurs were looking to "move" him. there's really no point in a developmental player not playing so makes sense. the only thing i heard was that maybe toronto in MLS but that never made sense since he was coming from seattle. but the idea was to pair him with michael bradley in the hopes of improving form for nat'l team (while playing in canada??). i can say that if CP wants to drum up some american interest, adding yedlin would help but only if he plays regularly.

I like Yedlin a lot, however, he would not do well for us. I think he serves best as a wing back and can be an attacking threat from the back but that isn't the way we play. We need 4 defenders who can primarily defend.

Does he play on the right? If so, can you imagine him linking up with Wilf on the right while Smurf links up with Bolasie on the left?

Always signs for Palace on my Football Manager 2015 saves. Mind you, Ronald Koeman is our manager in the Championship on this current one so.....
