Is an experienced premier league defender, id snap him up. Who is? Tim Krul (goalkeeper)? For what it is worth, I think Krul is probably an upgrade, but know some Toon fans do not massively rate him. Shelvey has ability and can see Toon letting him go (given Benitez didn't play him in last 6 games and he's on a fortune) but not sure he's what we need and 2 different clubs have come out subsequently and said he was a disruptive influence in dressing room.
