Gromett played up front as a target man.Only saw him early in the season in one game.I have also seen Matt Piper play this season when he was on loan from Worthing.Saw him play at right-back. Edited by Willo (22 May 2015 7.41pm)
Didn't Andy Lutwyche go there also? Going back a few years now, but I thought he was really good for BHTFC A lot of players have exchanged places. I can't remember where "The Flying Lutchman" went, but he was class. Will Berry, Matt Hurley, Matt Piper, Omar Bugiel and Curtis Gayler have all gone from BHTFC to Worthing in recent years. Although Worthing are bitter rivals, I am pleased to see Omar Bugiel scoring goals for them. I rated him at BHTFC but he got a bad press and a bad service. Always seemed to get the blame for our poor performances. I think he broke his leg in the end but he's popped back up scoring goals for Worthing. Andy Lutwyche was my high school maths teacher. His classroom was decorated with pictures of himself.

It was the opening game on the 3G pitch last night, Worthing 2 Northampton 5, about 700 there. Bloody good night and hopefully a lot of those who came last night will carry on going once the season starts.

Time for another bump on this thread. Play off semi final tonight Worthing V Hythe Town Woodside Road 7.45. If you're in the area and fancy a bit of football, get on down. Should be a good crowd tonight. Its been a really good season finishing 3rd, and with the publicity surrounding the owner the club is really on the up.

What an afternoon at Woodside Road, Worthing 3 Faversham 0, crowd of 1800. Superb performance, even better celebrations. My 8 year old somehow managed to get in the middle of the team photo holding the trophy. Proper old school football, with fans and players drinking in the bar afterwards.

Might see your lot next season at Leylands Park then. That is if BHTFC get a reprieve from relegation because of the Farnborough situation.
